How to apply

To participate, applicants must register via ied.it/borsedistudio-sostegnoallostudio and accept the Regulations. All required materials must be submitted by 16 February 2023

Requirements

Reserved for Product Design and Fashion Design candidates, who are asked to submit a RE-GENERATION project linked to wherever they call home. The project should aim to uplift the local community, arts, and crafts.

Goals

Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. provides two study grants for the three-year Product Design course and the three-year Fashion Design course delivered in Italian in Milan.

How we select eligible students

Motivation letters and projects will be assessed by a panel comprising heads of faculty and teachers from the schools of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication, and Restoration, assigning scores from 0 to 5 based on the following criteria:

  • Originality of the idea
  • Design aptitude
  • Technical quality
  • Project efficacy

Applicants whose projects receive a score of 12 or above will be invited to interview, in which the following criteria will be scored from 0 to 5:

  • Candidate motivation;
  • Intellectual vivacity and personal interests;
  • Communication skills.

Candidate scores in both assessments and the student's financial situation will determine the final ranking.
