Francesco Morelli GRANT 2022

How to apply

The most deserving thesis projects submitted by applicants are selected by the heads of faculty, based on these criteria:

  • innovation
  • social impact
  • adherence to the UN’s 2030 Agenda

Each faculty may apply for up to three projects by 20 September 2022

Requirements

The heads of faculty must submit the documentation outlined in the Regulations, alongside the students' applications.
Applicants are asked to submit their CVs and a thesis development project (including a budget) by 20 October 2022.

Goals

The goal of the Francesco Morelli Foundation is to facilitate entry into the world of design culture and professions and to encourage entrepreneurship among young people in the design field.
To this end, it awards a Euro 70,000 study grant to the 2022 IED graduates who produced the best work, with the goal of funding the development of their thesis project.

How we select eligible students

An external Commission, appointed by the Foundation's President, will assess the submitted documents based on the following criteria:

  • the grant's impact on the thesis project’s tangible progress
  • internationality
  • promotion of the thesis project

Each student will be assigned a score from 0 to 5, which will determine the final ranking.
Successful applicants will have one year to present their project and report on it.
