Study Grants for Three-Year and Five-Year Courses
To participate, applicants must register via ied.it/borsedistudio-sostegnoallostudio and accept the Regulations. All required materials must be submitted by 22 February 2022
Applicants must:
1) be up to 26 years old on 31 December 2022 and resident in Italy
2) be 18 years old by 31 December 2022 and have graduated from high school by September 2022
3) prove that they belong to an income bracket not exceeding Euro 15,000, by submitting the ISEE University or Current ISEE form,
4) speak the language in which the course will be delivered
5) not already have a diploma from IED, Accademia Galli or similar schools (for further details, refer to the attached Regulations)
The Francesco Morelli Foundation, IED, and Accademia Galli seek to eliminate socio-economic hurdles for gifted young creatives by launching and promoting 36 full study grants for their three-year and five-year courses in the areas of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication, and Restoration.
Motivation letters and projects will be assessed by a panel comprising heads of faculty and teachers from the schools of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication, and Restoration, assigning scores from 0 to 5 based on the following criteria:
_ Originality of the idea
_ Design aptitude
_ Technical quality
_ Efficacy of the project
Applicants with a minimum score of 12 will be invited to an interview in which the following criteria will be evaluated, with a score from 0 to 5:
_ Candidate motivation;
_ Intellectual agility and personal interests;
_ Communication skills.
Candidate scores in both assessments and the student's financial situation will determine the final ranking.
