The Glitch Camp returns to Design Week

The Francesco Morelli Foundation renews its commitment to promoting design culture by participating in The Glitch Camp 2025, the first free urban campsite for students from around the world during Milan Design Week.

Following the success of its first edition—which demonstrated the value of an innovative format designed to make Milan more accessible to young creatives—IED – Istituto Europeo di Design introduces an expanded edition, increasing capacity to 500 spots. Up to 500 university students will be accommodated free of charge at the 'Enrico Cappelli' Sports Center, managed by Milanosport SSD S.p.A. Thanks to a partnership with BASE Milano, The Glitch Camp will also welcome young designers to the terrace of the Cultural Centre in Via Tortona, where the fifth edition of We Will Design, BASE’s Design Week program, will take place.

The week in which The Glitch Camp is running will also be punctuated by the Public Program Designing Togetherness - proposed by the Francesco Morelli Foundation and designed by the School of the Two-Year Master’s Program in partnership with BASE Milano - which will feature a series of workshops, sports and wellness activities, social events and cultural activities. The complete program and how to register for the different events will be available in the next weeks. This initiative reaffirms the Francesco Morelli Foundation's commitment to supporting access to education and the dissemination of design culture, creating opportunities for young creatives worldwide.

The Glitch Camp is a unique opportunity to make design more accessible, providing participants with a space to experiment, connect, learn, and build both professional and personal networks.

Applications for the second edition of The Glitch Camp are now open. IED has launched an international call inviting design schools from around the world to nominate students between 18 and 30 years old. Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2025, or until all spots are filled. To apply, candidates must complete the registration form available on the IED website.
